The best Italian Restaurant in Brentwood and one of the best in the whole city. At this point Palmeri is an under the radar institution that has stood the test of time for decades. Same owners, waiters and delicious dishes that keep bringing me back.
As always food is very good. Hostess and staff very amiable. I like eating outside inside dining very cramped tight and on top of you. Kitchen was all backed up for some reason and not sure why. Waited very very long for food delivery. Previously did not ever have this issue. Hence will come back but if occurs again will move on.

This is a terrific and truly underrated Italian restaurant in Brentwood. Yes, I love Toscana 150 feet away but this place is different and just as terrific. So, I have been going here on and off for a while. Like the spot mentioned it is noisy too but maybe a bit more comfortable. This place is more traditional Italian and has these deep roots with its presentations. Great bread and breadsticks with real butter, multiple menu options that are super fresh but exepct to pay. That is ok. Service terrific and all I can say is this place rates with Madeo, offers only old school reservations via phone and that is what you get. Old school service, sauces with character and an absoltuley first rate Italian meal that is not "California" style but something different and great Being a New Yorker I so appreciate this place but without the "mafia" vibe. All good..sorry..very good.
Great old school Italian. Food is amazing and it's quieter than most other spots around which is a plus if you're going with young kids. Tomato sauce is something special and all the pastas I've tried have been stellar.
For a delicious eggplant pizza to go. Enough to share with a friend. Cheese is just right, and crust is on the thinner side. Nice for a medium sized bite to share!
